What are your favorite colors?

Bobbie: "After one glance in my closet and seeing the multiple shades of green, it's not hard to guess. In addition to green, I like red."

Penny: "Yellow is the color of sunlight and I feel uplifted with a touch of yellow around me. Also lavender is a soft and soothing color to me."

What is your favorite movie?

Bobbie: "Wow! This is a hard question because I really like movies, all kinds including action, drama, suspense but my favorite is romantic comedies. Penny and I can go from one movie theatre to the next with a bucket of popcorn for dinner and thoroughly enjoy ourselves. During the holidays it's one of my traditions to watch Miracle on 34th Street and White Christmas. And, one of my old, all-time favorites is Sun Valley Serenade with John Payne and Sonja Henie."

Penny: "Definitely romantic comedy. They don't seem to get old with me and I will pull out some that I've watched several times and watch them over. I also like some of the classics such as Casablanca and Breakfast at Tiffany's."

What is your favorite food?

Bobbie: "Spaghetti and just about anything cooked on the grill."

Penny: "It would have to be a good steak and baked potato. I also like Italian."

Who is your favorite author or book?

Bobbie: "Usually the one I'm currently reading but I've recommended Dallas Willard's Renovations of the Heart and Captivating by John & Stasi Eldredge a lot. Regarding novels, I've read most of John Grisham's books and The YadaYada Prayer Group. I recently finished Ted Dekker's Trilogy, The Circle (Black, Red and White), which was awesome. I also enjoyed The 4-Hour Workweek by Ferriss."

Penny: "I don't know if I have a favorite author, though I do like Francine Rivers. I used to never read a fiction book. I always wanted to "learn" something from what I was reading. Then I started reading fiction and I "learned" that sometimes reading just needs to be fun and relaxing. I think I would say I enjoy fiction. I like a book that I can't predict the ending to. If I figured out the ending I generally start skipping pages and get the gist of how it plays out so I can toss it to one side. I like a lot of twists. The sense of "Wow, I didn't see that coming."

What are your Hobbies?

Bobbie: "I enjoy walking, hiking, reading and shopping!"

Penny: "Hmmmm, hobbies seem to be what I do best. I enjoy reading, sewing, gardening, designing, figure skating, playing with the grandchild and learning new things. Notice I'm a little low on the sports end here. The hand eye coordination thing never has worked well for me."
